Gosh, have you ever thought back during the time when you're still small?
I had a chat with Athirah just a moment ago.
She told me that she moved and found something interesting that made her laugh till her stomach hurts while cleaning up her stuff for packing the other day, a letter.
It was a letter I wrote to her.
Oh, wait. Athirah is a dear friend of mine since kindergarten. We've known each other for 11 years. Yes, we went to the same kindergarten and primary school as well. We went our separate ways when we turned 13.
Back to the story.
Well, I wrote a letter to her and Fera. (Yes, another friend of mine. We met in primay school). We three were best buds. So, yea.. Athirah told me she found the letter and that the contents were like rules to follow, not to have special relationships with any boys during our friendship and that we have to tell each other who we like and stuff like that. Gosh, I was lmao-ing while Athirah told me that.
I did not even remember writing a letter to both of them about that. She even told me that I require them to tick the boxes if they agree with the rules I wrote in the letter. LOL, no?
We chatted and chatted. We asked each other if we were even in contact with some of our primary school friends. She then asked me if I remembered when the three of us fought and did not even talk to each other for the whole day. *We were kids. And kids get mad sometimes, ok?* She told me that one time, I wasn't talking to both of them and she wrote me a letter asking me why we are fighting. I returned her letter saying it was nothing and was asking for her forgiveness or something. She did forgive me though. (I wonder why we wrote letters instead of speaking because she sat a few seats just right in front of me )
Then we recalled some funny times when we're still in primary school.
Ahh, good times. Good times. Thinking back, all those fights and stuff were oh-so childish. And then after a day or even minutes, we're back to being great friends and played together again. Unlike now, some just do not even talk after fighting over such little stuff. (I'm not mentioning anyone of my friends but ain't it true?) They just quarre over some little stuff and never talked to each other again.
Friendships should not be like that. We should learn to forgive and forget.
ps: We should really go out for once. The three of us. Athirah, you should bring the letter you found and show it to us. I bet we'll laugh till we cry. Reminiscence.:D
